What would you say to
someone wanting to try meth once?
What would you say to someone that says they've never done anything risky in their life and they want to try Meth once because of all the hype?

I would say: "Well let me say my goodbye to you now because you'll never be the same person. You'll lose your soul. You'll lose yourself. So, good-bye."

Go jump out of a perfectly good airplane. Take a hang glider off the Grand Canyon. Scale the Empire State Building. Go eat hospital food. Bungee jump off a bridge into the Ohio River. Run across the Expressway. Play chicken with a Diesel truck. Come visit me today-enter at your own risk.

I'd say that is the stupidest thing I have ever heard. Then I'd say exactly what Theresa did, only not quite as nice.

I'd say "God, please help them." For I certainly can't make them do what I think they should do (abstain). I'd tell them to read my article about meth and the brain first. Found Here.

I'll try to be nice! You want a risk, Yeah jump out of a plane, with no parachute. Go Scuba diving with no oxygen tank. Drive down a crowded freeway at 90miles and hour with your eyes shut, on the wrong side to the road. Damn, well fine , Welcome to Hell. Sell your soul. Forget about a life, hey make it easy just drink pure Coleman Lantern fuel.

I'd say, you go ahead and run to that first base honey.. I'm at third with the ball and my target is going to be that big, dumb, thinking head of yours. Your wearing a helmet I hope. They call me the cannon.

Re: What would you say to

I would ask them if they thought a life without joy sounded appealing. Then I would tell them to find out as much as they could about the ramifications of methamphetamine before they used because afterwards may be too late. Then I would have them talk to Suzie, that'll kick em in the....Yeah....Just let Suz at them..

Re: What would you say to

First, I'd take them to the morgue, and let them look at a meth overdose corpse. She would look like this, only dead: Then, I'd take them to prison, and let them loose on the main yard, and see if that was exciting enough for them. Finally, I'd drop them off on skid row in downtown L.A., to give them a glimpse of their new neighborhood.

Re: What would you say to

I'd tell them that there is a reason there is so much hype. And there is a reason why people react so strongly to tweakers. And that no one is immune to becoming "one of those people" that are so despised today. This person's thinking is setting them up. Just because they may be older than when other addicts wanted to "try it", doesn't make them apt at outsmarting the quicksand. This person is obviously looking to get out of their head, they are bored, they are looking for something new. Might I suggest bungee jumping, hang gliding, or sky diving if they really want a thrill?

Re: What would you say to

I would say this in a very calm way: Why don't you go to an CMA meeting and see why they don't use meth any more? No one can tell that particular truth like a recovering addict. |
