Anywhere there is love and dedication and willingness to lear
and improve ones self. Thre is hope. I'm a firm beliver that
anything is possible. People do things against all odds every

believe your sweet tooshie it can happen two addicts staying
together and become two recovering addicts I can say this
because my husband and I are living clean proof. I have 6 yrs
clean and he coming up on his 6year. It'a been one hell of rough
road but it has gotten smoother as the years have gone by I will
not lie there were times I did not think I was going to make it
and my husband was the best support system anyone could ask for
and he had been using over ten years as for I had only used for
almost two years. We are still going strong and I give thanks
everyday. |

If you want a meaningful relationship, I would say they both
need to be in recovery (if both are addicts).

I agree with Abby. BOTH should be in recovery. But there is
nothing wrong with loving an addict and for sure nothing wrong
with two addicts loving each other. |

it don' always work out, heck if someone was always high when
they was with another when they sober up they might not really
know the person or like them.
i think that might happen with my son and his wife, they have
only seen each other without him being high or drunk is on
visiting days for a few hours at the prison. |

well from experience I speak.
Um, it is hard, we tend to feed off of each others bullshyt. I
would say, both have to have their own recovery and work it.
They would have to call each other out on the inbetween bullcrap.
It is not impossible, nothing is, except if we make it.
My husband has been out for 3 months now, while I
recover...before he went out he tried to bring downers and drugs
back into our home, which made it very hard for me to say no, he
choose to leave because of my new connection to recovery and
making it work, so he did me a favor. I do however know...it is
just always a phone call away.
what would of happen if he would of brought dope home last week,
well I was weak and probably would of joined him.
It is hard to have a marriage with two addicts. |

Hi Cleansober you are very right when my husband and I got
clean. well I did not know if I would feel the same for him
being sober blessed be it is even better. what you said is so
very true because I only knew him high and like I said I did not
know how I was going to feel once he got clean The proof is in
the years 8 to be exact since we got together. |

My boy friend and I have been together 3yr now, daeling with
this meth problem.Now He has check him self into a one year
rehab program..we both agree on toghter, and I'm going to
Al-anon groups.....do you think we have a chase. |
