Good relationships happen only if you love yourself enough
to have the capacity to receive, and believe.

imho...i dont believe
most meth addicts really like who they are, dont know who they
are while using, um, a lot of users are covering up some deep
rooted emotional trauma...but...speed...or...love...the only
thing that happens is you love speed...nothing more...no
balance. |

I couldn't even stand myself and i couldn't care 4 myself. i
wasn't able to love anyone else. all i wanted was to be high and
to get high. no feelings at all |

without me, meth has no meaning....I animate it.
....it's just a piece of hazardous waste without someone to give
it hype.
love is always everlasting.
I always choose love when givin those two choices....

Umm,
I find that yeah. Addict can have relationships.. they do it all
the time.
I think that everyone would be generally better off though if
they didnt. They tend to make a relationship dysfunctional above
and beyond anything I've seen elsewhere.
Um. That was kinda a joke.. though it was true.
Really.. it depends on the addict I would say. Some of us fall
harder for the dope than others. |

Addicts have
"relationships" all of the time, but are they "happy ones?" So,
far I have never known of an addict to have a "happy
relationship," where they put their mate first over meth. That
is just my opinion... |

Yes an addict can love.
BUT! often addicts think they are in love when they realy
aren't. If an addict gets into a relationship while they are
still using sometimes it's not true love. Meth stimulates the
pleasure areas of our brain, and therefor we sometimes think we
are in love but we aren't.
Dopamine is naturaly released when a sober person is stimulated
by love, addicts are flooded with dopamine when we use, so false
love often ensues.
What im trying to say,
is... Addicts LOVE everything when we're high, but our only true
love is the drug.
Once an addict gets clean
on the other hand, our love with another person, will either
fall appart as we realize they don't stimulate us like we
thought they did.
Or our love will strengthen tremendously as we are naturaly
stimulated by them and we dont have the stimulation of dope
overshadowing the true love.
I felt my first natural rush of dopamine in the last few weeks,
and it was INTENSE, and AMAZING. It was like the first time I
got high, I haven't felt that in 9 years. And the best part is.
It was all natural. |

well sUZie Q...while on
drugs i only loved drugs...there was no balance for me...it was
to conflicting.
what i believed pulled me up, was the love for my
children...when i sober, i had clarity...instead of reaching for
my next numbness of the pain of guilt...i reached inside and put
them as my priority instead of dope...
no relationship i had EVER...while on drugs...was anything more
then a relationship built on lies, getting high, getting dope,
crashing...and back to the first...an evil circle
but of the two...your
right...love i hold now...
