9 days clean  - the one-liners that are saving me

still catest 9 days clean - the one-liners that are saving me.
These one-liners have been my saving grace and help keep me clean each day.

"Your job right now is to wake up, stay clean, and go to bed."
"Just for today..."
"This too shall pass."
"Don't use no matter what."
"An addict, any addict, can stop using drugs, lose the desire to use and find a new way to live."
"HOW...Honesty, Open-Mindedness & Willingness."
"I can't do it but WE can."
"If after doing 90 meetings in 90 days you don't feel ANY better, your misery will be gladly refunded at the door."
"Keep coming back."
"Let us love you till you can love yourself."
"We DO recover."
"Don't give up before the miracle happens."
I'm sure there are lots others, but these are the ones I keep repeating in my head and I guess they help, because I'm clean and haven't killed anybody (mainly hubby).

Way to go.
one liners are my favorite, here's a couple more.

I am new here and I am happy to see that you have 9 days. I have a problem with meth and the longest I have ever gone with out using is 2 weeks. I don't want to be like this anymore. I have a wonderful family and my 10 year-old is the best boy any mother could have. My family doesn't know about me. I am trying to quit on my own. I have only been using for a year. I don't want it anymore. I do need support, but meetings don't work for me as I have a social anxiety disorder (not caused by meth) that makes it difficult to speak in front of people. I hope to make some buddies here to help with the withdrawals. Thanks, Mandy1001

Tina,
Those simple one-liners are awesome!! I love them, they are easy to remember and seem to fit any situation.
My favorites: Easy Does It. Keep It Simple. (my counselor did it "Keep It Simple Sweetie" so it abbreviated as KISS, I liked that!!) and another acronym
S.on
O.f A
B.ytch
E.verything's
R.eal

I'm glad to see your post!!

Peace and Love,
Kelly
