What does meth smell like when it is smoked?

I am just wondering what meth smells like when it is smoked? Does it ever smell sickenly sweeet?

I've heard "Dog the Bounty Hunter" say it is sweet. Most people say it doesn't smell. When I did smell it, it smelled like plastic or something similiar burning. Like a dirty oven that is self-cleaning.......

It depends,

Meth that is very close to the chemical formula, or meth that is close to purity doesn't have an odor.

Impurities, adulterants, and other elements can have an odor.

there is a wide variety of pollutants ranging from a smell similar to Finger nail polish remover (acetone) to rotten eggs. ( methamphetamine sulphate )

There are other varieties also, cat urine or ammonia is also one of them.

Meth smells like... errr... chemicals burning. I never thought of the smell as "sweet". It varies a lot. Kinda stale. I know the smell all too well, but don't know how to describe it. Maybe the sticky sweet smell is an air freshener to cover it up?

I am not sure what it smells like when it's burned. My boyfriend says it doesn't smell at all.
I can tell you that when my boyfriend used, he had a sweet smell to him and his clothes, sort of weird cause most people say they stunk when they used. I have a nose that smells everything, when he got clean the sweet smell was gone.

Some hubby smoked didn't have much smell.
I was not one that could smell it often.

I did smell it a few times though when he smoked it in the bathroom- I would put it as burnt shower curtains. Someone described it as that a long time ago- yes. That was it.
He smoked it on foil- would that make a difference in smell?

I did notice his breath stunk bad - and he had a film on his teeth a few times- Yuck.
Towards the end of his run, he did get a body odor. Can't say at that time it smelled like cat piss- he just stunk. Definitely not sweet either.

It wasn't until he was detoxing that I got the cat piss smell.
I rolled over towards him in the middle of the night and woke me right up it was that strong.

Where I come from at least when your cooking it smells like cat urine. Anhydrous ammonia is the chemical that causes that smell.

My BF always says it don't have a smell to it...Bull-Sh*t!!!It does have a smell!! like burning plastic, cat urine, ammonia all in one!! GROSS!!!!

Depends on how it is mixed, what chemicals are used. Times I've smelled is like burning plastic (only smelled it a time or two though)

I've heard it described as smelling like mayonaise...sweet smell.

Sounds more like opium to me, when smoked has a sickeningly sweet smell.
