RIP Songs (death, grieving, sadness)

TxTigger RIP Songs
Ok i am trying to think of some songs to get through this:

These are what i have,

Tears in heaven
Knockin on Heaven doors
I'll be missing you
What hurts the most
Grown men Don't Cry - he ;loved that song
If I don't make it back

Anyone have any songs that helped them through this or that they have heard at a funral.

One sweet day- Mariah Carey & Boyz to men
It's so hard to say goodbye- Boyz to men

Tigger, there is one that is a rock song - they played it at JG funeral but I honestly don't remember.
It had heaven in the title- but not one you listed.
It was done by a grunge rock type band- I just can not remember. But it really struck home to me.
I will see if I can't rack this rusted brain and pull it up.

It would have been out in 1997 thereabouts- Jerry died the year after DJ.
EDIT : Stone Temple Pilots did it .

the highway men are johnny cash, walon, willie, and someone else....I'll get the lyrics..it's worth a look.

forget suzette Re: RIP Songs
Highway man!!!!

willie sings:

I was a highwayman. Along the coach roads I did ride
With sword and pistol by my side
Many a young maid lost her baubles to my trade
Many a soldier shed his lifeblood on my blade
The bastards hung me in the spring of twenty-five
But I am still alive.

waylon sings:

I was a sailor. I was born upon the tide
And with the sea I did abide.
I sailed a schooner round the Horn to Mexico
I went aloft and furled the mainsail in a blow
And when the yards broke off they said that I got killed
But I am living still.

johnny cash sings:

I was a dam builder across the river deep and wide
Where steel and water did collide
A place called Boulder on the wild Colorado
I slipped and fell into the wet concrete below
They buried me in that great tomb that knows no sound
But I am still around..I'll always be around..and around and around and
around and around

I fly a starship across the Universe divide
And when I reach the other side
I'll find a place to rest my spirit if I can
Perhaps I may become a highwayman again
Or I may simply be a single drop of rain
But I will remain
And I'll be back again, and again and again and again and again.. ....
