Did anyone ever have
ringing in the ears while using meth? I went to the dr last year for ringing in my right ear that would not stop. They said I had tinnitus I noticed today, that its not ringing anymore. I'm starting to wonder if it was due to the meth use. just pondering.............

ringing in the ears while using meth? Yep. Had it before, it was worse when I was using, and I still have it to this day, though I've learned to live with it.

ringing in the ears while using meth? Never had continuous ringing but when I shot speed got what we called bell ringers a ringing from the rush. Seems probable that it could then do some ongoing damage to that area of the ear. I know I am going blind as a result of shooting speed, it has ruined my retina's.

ringing in the ears while using meth? Oh yeah! yet another of meths ultimate rewards. Nearly 2 years later I still live with a constant (((bell ringer))), the one that didn't go away. It's loud, annoying, and ever present. And it WAS/IS caused by massive doses of meth. It must have something to do with the holes in my brain that meth caused, you know...those darn fluid filled cavities we see on brain scan images. I also had insane itching in my ears while using... and occasionally to this day. There's a story in the NA basic text about a woman who lost all hearing for quite some time....until one day she heard the phone ringing. I'm a pinball wizard...blind, deaf and DUMB We havin' fun now tweekers?

ringing in the ears while using meth? The ringing in my ears was common when I was using. Also, lots of jaw pain from grinding my teeth. As well, my eyes are SHOT thanks to my addiction. Ah, the joys of meth.....NOT!!!

ringing in the ears while using meth? hmmm...I've had ringing in my ears for years now but never have related it to meth! Weird! I guess that's one more bonus of the drug! Oh well, just glad to be alive. |
