Clean Meth Tweakers vs Dirty
Meth Tweakers, which were you
Ok I don't understand what makes the
difference in people when they are on meth. You will either see
very clean and neat people to almost the point of being a little
scary to the people who have the nastiest house that you wanted
to vomit as soon as you walk in the house. Well all my friends
were like me and you could probably eat off our toilets that's
how anal we all were but then we also knew people who had the
grossest house with dog poop all over it and stuff like that.
So I was wondering what kind of tweakers were everyone else or
their addicts |

When I was with my son's father, we were
both. The upstairs of our home (where I resided) was clean. I
scrubbed floors all night long. The basement (where the "rat
bastard" resided) was not so tidy. Unfinished projects
everywhere, not unsanitary, just messy.
I think most people start as neat tweakers and end up as messy.

the only reason my addict EVER cleaned was
because he wanted to hide his use from me. He has usual tweaker
behaviors. like porn and writing stuff etc etc...Most of the
time he would do pointless crap instead of clean. The whole
house would smell like meth especially if I went to shower or
something and I would always ask WHY DOES IT SMELL LIKE CAT PISS
IN HERE? He knew exactly what I was smelling but just shrug it
away. I guess he was neither. he did not clean much but not that
gross I guess.

Obsessively clean and neat.....a place for
everything and everything in it's place....floors you could eat
off of, closets and cabinets perfectly arranged, fresh and
healthy food in refrigerator (I have a kid), fresh flowers and
well-taken-care-of plants everywhere.
Meals prepared, laundry done daily, errands run, volunteered at
my child's school, took my son on vacations, had his friends
over, and, sorry, functioned like a champ.
Only thing was, I NEEDED the speed to do all this. I lived the
same way before speed that I did while using speed, but when I
stopped, everything went to shyt.
It irritates me no end that I can't do what I used to do, either
before using or while using.
But, on the other hand, I didn't want to be a slave to the drug
anymore.
Although I'm proud of myself for staying clean, sometimes I do
wish I could do the things I did and give of myself the way I
could while using.
Oh, well. The price we pay. |

my house always looks like a bomb hit it...
....at first speed helped...in the end it didn't.
I jack off with running water...
.....so I myself, was clean as a whistle.

Clean tweaker, here. Everything immaculate,
had the greatest redecorating ideas
Always was a clean freak, though. Last time I did it, I came
home and started cleaning.
Most of the girls I did it with were clean freaks, too. My best
friend and I used to clean her house, and then go to mine.
After awhile, though, the standards got a little lower. Her
boyfriend/dealer was a dumpster diver. He would bring home the
most God awful crap and it really started to take over the
house. Her beautiful home became a junkyard of his crap, junk
cars....it was sad.
Me, I lost my house. Too busy hitting the pipe in the bathroom
to pay the bills.

Well, my husband has always been a lot anal
retentive in a clean freak sort of way. When he started using it
became even worse. But then he was using more and he became a
total slob. The garage looked like a bomb went off in there. Of
course that was where he spent all his time "working" on stuff.
The only thing that he was a real clean freak a$$hole about was
his car. He would get crappy if the kids even left a crumb in
it. The kids used to purposely put crumbs on the seat to see if
he would freak out about it.

Ya know, when my son was a kid, he was so
neat. Kinda on the preppie side. He made his bed and kept his
things picked up.
Talk about a complete turn around. I went by last week. It was
so awful. Bowls of 1/2 eaten oatmeal, cereal, soup, etc. sitting
around everywhere. There was not one clean glass, bowl, spoon,
etc. in the house. Trash overflowing. Just blows my mind. His
hands are always dirty. He gets black fingerprints all over
everything. He almost never has clean clothes to wear.
Sad thing is, he flat don't care. I reckon that makes him a
dirty tweeker. *sighs*
On the other side, when he does clean (and that is not often) he
does it better than I do.

Its unreal how different people can be. All I
know like others have said they wished they could just have the
same umph(sp) to get stuff done like when they were using! We
cant keep our house spotless like we used too. Its not dirty now
just not clean!

Spotless when using - absolutely spotless.
Even dishes in the cabinet were spotless.
Windows streak free, grout sparkling-
like sh!t when I crashed.........
then load up and begin the cycle again.
Now? Lived in. We live here, it shows.
Not nasty dirty- occasionally dirty kitchen floor, I don't
always mop up after I do my planting on my table
Cluttered a lot of times, now that I am working.
Laundry always- can't stay caught up.
I haven't had anything hairy growing in my frig but it has been
known to have tea spilled on the drawers.
My bedroom? a disaster except for the one day I clean it-
clutter everywhere, plant catalogs, bills, pictures, numbers
scrawled on the back of envelopes...........
I keep thinking I will get more organized ..........
It hasn't happened yet.
*sighs* not health hazard dirty- just cluttered lived in.
Now that is one thing that does bother me sometimes- not
always.But yeah sometimes.
More than gaining weight ,it is limited energy.
I really would love to keep a spotless house.

I started out being a clean tweeker, I even
color coordinated my daughters clothes in the closet. But then I
ended up living in abandoned houses that were really tore up and
filthy...I tried to clean up the spot I was in or the one room I
occupied there, but never really had the resources to do ANY
type of cleaning. Like I could afford a new pipe but NOT dish
soap or brooms... Having a SPOTLESS house is no longer that
important to me any more. Do you think I'm just lazy? Sometimes
I do, but I know ,my priorities have changed. I still clean up.
I don't get all tweeked out about it anymore!!!

Clean, obsessively, compulsively clean. I was
always a clean freak but it made it 1000 times worse. Because
when I could forgo sleeping, I could stay up all night and
clean. Forget having energy or not when I quit, if you only have
4 hours to get things done as opposed to 12, things are just
never going to be as clean as they were.
Things are still pretty clean although the drawers and closet is
no where near as organized as they once were.

My husband has never cleaned anything in his
life but has always lived in a clean environment. He went from
having a maid when he lived with his dad to having a maid for a
wife. When he was using really heavy, he was super-picky about
our house. He didn't actually clean anything himself, just
pointed out the things that he thought needed extra attention.
Like telling me I oughta use a toothbrush to get into the
corners of the kitchen floor or that I should take down the
bathroom vent covers and soak them in bleach.
He kept the garage very well organized though.
So, I guess he was a clean tweaker - in a supervisory role.

I was never really living in my own place
while I was using. I wasn't a very hyper tweeker, pretty much
was just willing to sit and talk and smoke cigarettes and have
coffee or soda. I would stare off into space all "ga ga" while
my g/f would clean her house. At the end, I didn't have a home,
lived in my car, and it was pretty badly kept. A couple of
plastic grocery sacks of clothes. I felt dirty and sweaty most
of the time, even when I got showers. Part of my beginning of
hitting bottom was asking to take a shower in my friend's filthy
apartment. Her apartment was a total mess most of the time. I
stayed there a lot, and can't believe I could even sleep there
now. I'm not a big house cleaner, but I would not let mine get
to that point now. I don't think I could handle her house if I
wasn't high on something. My house gets messy, but not very
dirty. |

It is crazy hearing peoples stories. My
friends and I would have competitions on who would have the
newest cleaning products and who would have the better vacuum.
of course I always won but that was just because I was good a
switching clearance stickers. got a $550.00 vacuum for $26.00)
anyways I look back at this now and think what a loser I was!!! |

well, I was one of them tooth brush carrying,
scrub everything till it breaks, sanitize the whole house with
Clorox, kind of tweakers

My biggest problem was getting dressed for
the day. I would try on at least 50 out fits, In the morning
every thing would be put away nice and neat. By the time I left
my house all my clothes would be left on the floor, cuz I would
not have time to put stuff back. Then it was the hour to find my
keys, or my stuff cuz I sometimes would hide it from myself.
Then the hours it took to clean my pipe, wow by the time I left
my house the day was gone. |
