Sweating and meth

Does a person commonly sweat alot when using meth? Does it make a difference if a person is smoking vs injecting regarding sweating?

I have a question relating to this...My ex boyfriend would sweat ALOT....aside the mood swings, it got to the point that I didn't even want him to spend the night with him, becuase of the sweating....I'am not being a snob, i mean, the sheets were WET! Soaking wet! And he hung around with meth-addicts, but he DIDN'T DO IT (Rolls eyes)....Now that I'am older, and have seen my sister go through a meth addiction, which, prompted me to do research on the whole Meth epidemic, my question is... When they sweat like that, and you are coudling them...are the toxins they are sweating out going into your body?? Are you taking those toxins in??? Just curious as to what you all think about that....

k...one more question...are they sweating like a pig when they are on it, coming down from it, or tweaking for it? Are they mean/ugly/moody when they are on it, coming down from it, or needing it?

My x use to sweat so much that i would have to wash the sheets every time he actually slept....it was so grose....i wrote it off as it being the summer time until it was a constant even in colder weather. I think that this is just part of it. hope this helps

Meth is a poison to our bodies. So as soon as it enters it tries to find a way out. We sweat it out. When we are high we are spinnin at a high rate which also causes sweat... when we are coming down we are detoxing and the sweat is trying to cleanse us...
So what do you really want to know?

I used to sweat so much that I had to have a couple changes of clothes for /every time I got high/.

My addict sweats alot when he uses. He would be angry and mean when he was high, coming down and when wanting more.
I would say he was the worst when he was out of drugs and it was maybe a day or two later and he is still feeling the effects of his last use.
He never needed a jacket in the winter either. We would be outside and I would be freezing, and he would be sweating, saying it's not that cold out here. He always said I just sweat alot normally. Well, that was BS. Once I knew him sober, his hands were never sweaty and he just sweated like a normal person.
I have never felt any physical effects of his drug use and we were very close, holding each other, sex, all that stuff, and I never was affected.
My boyfriends breath smells different when he is using, he has always been a snorter, but I could smell it even days later.

yeah you sweat a lot and your face gets real oily, also the hair thing is something i use to do when i would be high. I would grab one peice of hair at a time. I would do that for hours!!

Meth raises body temperature dangerously high (as high as 10 -- thus the sweating.

You see I learn something new everytime I come here, sweating, my daughter use to complaine about it all the time, makes sense now. I also remember she use to say that her boyfriend would sweat so bad she didn't like sleeping with him. Learn something everyday......

When I would get spun my skin would turn yellow, get very oily, and I even smelled funny. YOu can't have good hygiene while on that stuff. Not to mention how nasty your mouth gets when you smoke it, it gets slimy and dry at the same time. I used to also get goopy film in my teeth, it was so gross.
